Its quite something, multi-billion dollar industries and they all have such pathetic test sample sizes. As previously reported on pfizer, AZ and Moderna all having such pathetic and unscientific studies, tiny sample groups, monitoring of very few subjects not to mention not actually testing the symptomatic, pregnant or immunocompromised. I mean how this qualifies as "science" I just don't know anymore.
Approximately 750 participants were planned to be randomized in each country. Eligible participants were randomly assigned (1:1:1:1:1) in a blinded manner to one of five vaccine groups (groups A, B, C, D, and E) according to pre-generated randomization schedules with two-factor, two-level stratification employed (ages 18-59 and 60-84 years; study site) (Fig. 1). As a safety measure, enrollment of older participants was initially limited to approximately 50 participants in each of the five vaccine groups until reactogenicity was observed for 5 days with no safety concerns.
750 sounds more reasonable, but then you read they only "monitored" 50 of them.
I mean, how this qualifies as "the science", its really really.. bizarre

Of the 131 participants who received injections, 23 received placebo (group A), 25 received 25-μg doses of rSARS-CoV-2 (group B), 29 received 5-μg doses of rSARS-CoV-2 plus Matrix-M1, including three sentinels (group C), 28 received 25-μg doses of rSARS-CoV-2 plus Matrix-M1, including three sentinels (group D), and 26 received a single 25-μg dose of rSARS-CoV-2 plus Matrix-M1 followed by a single dose of placebo (group E).
